Having used PCs and Macs for the better part of two decades, I've seen it all. Let me just say this is by far the best display I've had the pleasure of using.

Pros:
It's an IPS screen (versus TN, PVA or MVA) meaning you'll see incredibly good viewing angels and consistent color. PVA screens are great too (avoid TN and MVA) but IPS still has the edge.

It's a glossy screen, meaning there's no sparkly anti-glare coating blurring small fonts and other details. Colors pop, even the tiniest of details are easily visible. I love it.

It has a glass screen (gorilla glass?), so it's very easy to clean and very hard to scratch.

Speakers are among the best for built in speakers, which isn't saying much, but they're easily better than some larger TVs.

Cons:
While I despise murky antiglare coated displays, there's no denying that glare is a problem under certain conditions.

Displayport is the ONLY input. I'm using the Atlona DP400 to run a GTX 580 through this display via DVI with zero problems at full resolution. But keep in mind this is an extra expense.

The stand's height and orientation cannot be adjusted. It's tilt only.

Bottom line:
You'll notice astounding detail with this display. Everything just pops off the screen. I haven't had this much pleasure with a display since the old Trinitron days of the 80's, guide wires and all.

(by Bgon) In California, it is illegal to have anything mounted to your windshield. GPS, Radar Detectors, etc. If an Officer feels inclined to, he can actually pull you over and ticket you for a windshield mounted device.

I have an Escort Passport 9500ix. I was using the windshield mount it came with. However, I noticed that it was rubbing up against my windshield when I drove and (I'm sure) in part to the dual 12's in the back. It was evident that continual use of the supplied windshield mount would eventually lead to a damaged windshield.

This dash mount is working great. It holds my radar detector perfectly still away from the windshield, while obeying one of CA's many ridiculous laws. Plus, it elevates the radar detector to the perfect spot in order to detect laser without jeopardizing radar detection.

(Roger J. Buffington) : I love Apple products, but must run a Windows 7 system for professional reasons. I greatly envied my daughter's Apple keyboard, and a Bing search indicated that the Apple keyboard would work fine with Windows. Well, it does. There are a few Windows specific keys missing, and a few Mac specific keys that don't do much on this keykboard, but really all the keys that almost all Windows users will want are right here. The keyboard installed on my desktop Windows machine in seconds as a Bluetooth device, and works flawlessly. I had no setup issues whatever. None.

The keyboard itself is a beautiful, minimalist device, but nonetheless constitutes a full-sized keyboard, albeit without the numeric pad. Despite the fact that I am a power touch typist, I have never once used the numeric pad on any keyboard, so I appreciate the notion of giving up the numeric pad in exchange for having a smaller device on the desktop. Not everyone will agree, of course. Also missing are the delete key and the printscreen key. I admit that I miss the delete key, but the destructive backspace key is an adequate substitute.

The keyboard seems to be just the right size for my hands (I am not a big guy) and although it is not one of the curved "ergonomic" keyboards, I find myself quite comfortable typing continuously with this keyboard. The keys themselves have a nice solid feel; most typists will like the feel of these keys.

I like the fact that this keyboard uses readily-available AA batteries. It shuts off when not in use, and springs to life instantly upon the touch of a key. Very good design.

Highly recommended for anyone who does not mind eschewing the numeric keypad, the delete key and printscreen. RJB.
